My share today is featuring the stamp set Daydream Medallions . Oh yes another Christmas Card!:-) As I have said I am working on a Holiday Display for the Library and so I want plenty of Christmas items to place in the case.
This card is done in Night of Navy with a mat of Pear Pizzazz Card Stock. I used a double mat of Very Vanilla that is cut the same size and the top layer has a cutout done with the Floral Frames Framelits. I stamped the medallions on Very Vanilla CS using a Always Artichoke Classic Pad . The medallion are stacked inside the cutout using Snail Adhesive and Stampin Dimensionals to give them some pop. Each medallion was cut out with Floral Frame Framlits and I finished them with Basic Pearls on the largest and smallest layer. I added a large pearl in the center. The sentiment Merry Christmas came from Sassy Salutations and is stamped in Artichoke. I added the bow made with our 7/16" Natural Trim Ribbon. All the supplies can be purchased on my website. If you want detailed list of supplies and instructions to make this card, just drop me a line and I can send them to you. Thanks for stopping in.
Have a great weekend. Until nest time....

Is it to early for Christmas cards?
Hi all
I wanted to share a couple of cards I did for a challenge with my group the Jacksonville Starz. They just happen to be Christmas cards, I have the holidays on my mind getting ready to do my display at the Lee Cnty Library in October. I try to use fresh ideas so I have been creating with new stamp sets that are offered in the Holiday Mini.
My first card was done with the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set (128051) and Holiday Ornaments Framelits (127816). These were products from the 2012 Holiday Mini Catalog and were so popular that Stampin' UP! is offering them as a carryover. You won't find them in any catalog but they are available on my website. It is done in Whisper White and Real Red card stock. The polka dot piece is from the Season of Style DSP (13234). I stamped the ornament with Real Red on White and cut it out with the Framelits which I rimmed in Silver Glitter Paper. The Season's Greeting came from another carry over set More Merry Messages. (126402). To see all the Carry Over products follow this link to ONLINE ONLY STAMPS
The next card is done with the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and the Festive Flurry Framelits from The Holiday Mini. These products are one of the items that are being bundled at a savings of 15%. I am a real fan of the framelits so when I can I get them in a bundle. This card was done in Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Whisper White Card Stock with a touch of Silver Glitter paper and a piece of our new Silver Ribbon. I used the framelit to cut the snow flake from the mats on the card and placed the stamped snow flake directly on the base. I added a smaller snowflake on top to give it some height. To give the Soft Sky mat some texture I used the snowflake TIEF from the Delicate Designs folder set. I used the same sentiment from More Merry Messages and punched that out with the curly label punch, I made a mat from Smoky Slate by punching another label and cutting it in half I had it just peeking out from behind the white.
I hope you enjoy my shares for today and I will be back soon to bring you more samples. If you would like to do any of the cards at home just give me a shout and I'd be happy to give you detailed instructions and a full supply list. But better yet contact me to do your Workshop in a Box.
Until next time, be kind and SMILE! :-}

Festive Flurry
Hi All,
Happy Friday. I wanted to give you some news that was announced yesterday and to share a project I worked on over the week end. This was something that was featured in the Holiday Catalog and I cased it from the picture on page 12-13. I used different colors and paper but it was designed from that picture.
It is done with The new set Festive Flurry 131781 and the Festive Flurry Framelites Dies. They are offered in a bundle with a savings of 15%. I used Pool Party and Smoky Slate Ink on Whisper white card stock. The center piece is one of the Frosted Finishes Embellishments. The ribbon is offered in the Holiday Mini and is silver. You can't see it very well but every other layer is folded to give it dimension. The picture does not do it justice. I am planning to use these in my display at the library in October. I am making various sizes to hang. I have a class on October 19th. and this will be one of the projects.
Festive Flurry Bundle 133285 $46.95
Until next time. Do one thing today that makes YOU happy!!!

New Thinlits Card Dies
Here is a cred I did with the new Label Thinlits Die (133479 $32.95). I used a sheet of 51/2 x 81/2 paper and place the right edge over the die so it didn't cut it off. The inside of the card is closed and I like it done this way better than cutting the whole die out.
this is what it would look like if I cut it out using the entire die on top of the paper.
This is how it looked when I did it using 1/2 the die. Now it has a flap over the center of the card to covery the inside. I think it makes a more finished card. What do you think? I used Serene Silhouettes, Love & Sympathy for the inside of the card and Simply Sketched for the sentiment on the front> The cardstock is Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise. Designer Paper is one of my very favorites Modern Medley. Hope you enjoy my share today I will be back soon. Until then, be kind........

Don't forget the Mystery Hostess code for August is UT3FT27Z. A $35 online order gives you a chance to win $25 in free merchandise.

I used the stamp set Lovely Romance (130265) and the Designer Paper Afternoon Picnic (131390). The card stock is Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Pool Party. I used the little tab on the front to keep the card closed. I left the inside blank as I do with most of my cards. I like to customize them when I get ready to send one out. That way I can use most of my cards for any occasion. I'll be back soon to share another new project, that I am working on.
Until then....please be kind, you never know what burdens someone is carrying. A smile goes a long way!

Criss Cross Card
My share today is an idea I got from Split Coast Stampers. What a great site to get inspiration for your cards and other paper craft. I have learned a great deal of techniques from this site. IF you haven't seen it before it is worth the time to check it out. They have a special Stampin' UP! gallery that you can get ideas for any set. This card is called the Criss Cross Card and can be used as a gift card holder or just a sweet way to say hello to someone special.
I used one of Stampin' UP! returning IN Color, Island Indigo and Pool Party. The DSP Sycamore Street and was from our Sale-a-brations flyer. I used stamp sets Flower Shop, Label Love and Lovely Romance
Thanks for stopping in, love the company! Until next time

Sharing some great swaps
I wanted to share some swaps I received at Convention. This was a special swap that was among my group the Jacksonville Starz. We met with some of the long distance ladies and had a great time. I shared the card I did for this a bit ago. Now I wanted to show you what talented ladies are in my group. So here we go.....
This first one was done by my Up line and good friend Lee Conrey. Isn't it beautiful. Lee is such an inspiration to all of us. She is a dynamo and one great lady.
I attached a link to the website for each of the ladies. Just click on their name and check out some of their other works. I am working with some of the new stamps from the Holiday Mini so come back and visit often. I love the company! Until next time....be kind and do one thing today that makes YOU happy!

Susan Best is the creator of this card. This is the cutest Halloween card and it was done by my longtime friend Lisa Swett. What a fabulous card. Lisa Tyndall is the creator. This card opens in the middle and is really cute. The last share for today was done by Christina Cummings. She does such beautiful cards |

They've been called flip cards, flip
flop cards, swing cards, and more-but they have always been a bit tricky to
create. Well...not anymore! Stampin' Up!'s amazing new Thinlits Card Dies cut and score to create
a card that flips in just one step.
With the number of dies you're getting, plus the die that creates the
card itself, the price is a great value-especially to create an
interactive card! The main shape in the cards (circle and label) can work with a lot of our stamp images so you can create tons of different kinds of cards using many different stamp sets.
- Here are just a few suggestions to get you started:
- Label Card Thinlits Die (133479):
- Happy Day Stamp Set (130294w or 130297c)
- Circle Card Thinlits Die (item 133480):
- Worth the Wait Stamp (item 131094w)
- Five-Way Flower Stamp (item 131088w)
- Both card dies pair well with:
- Oh, Hello Stamp Set (131931w or 130733c)
- Yippee-Skippee! Stamp Set (131341w or 131344c)
- Really Good Greetings Stamp Set (130330w or 130333c)
- Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set (130324w or 130327)
- Label Card Thinlits Die (133479):
