Jacksonville Starz December Blog Hop

Good Morning,
I am so glad you are able to join us for the December edition of the Jacksonville Starz Blog Hop.  You may just be starting the hop or may have come from Maria Willis' blog.  This month is a color challenge... black, white + one other color of your choice!!  The possibilities are endless.  So follow the hop to see what our amazing Starz have created.

Dove of Peace is the stamp set I used to create my card.  The base is black matted with a piece of Whisper White.  I embossed the mat with the Softly Falling TIEF and a piece of our Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum.  Lastly I added a strip of Black Glimmer Paper to cover my seam.  My dove and Verse were stamped on Whisper White using Real Red & Versa Mark Ink then heat embossed using Clear Emboss Powder.  I used a verse from Versatile Christmas to finish the inside using the same stamp/ink heat embossing and added the same Vellum/Glimmer Paper finish.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my site and don't hesitate to stop in anytime.  I wish you a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!
Rose Ann

The next stop on the hop is  Amanda Sevall  Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.  Until then be kind and Do One Thing Today that Makes YOU Happy!

Quick Share-Embellished Ornaments

I thought I would share a Christmas Card with you all, I have done several different ones so far this season but haven't shared many.

This card was done with the Embellished Ornaments stamp set and Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies (sold as a Bundle) from the Holiday Catalog, which is going to continue to be available thru-out the next several months.  I used Basic Black, Tip Top Taupe, Gold Foil and Winter Wonderland Vellum Stack paper and Black Ink.  The Ornament was embossed the ornament onto a piece of Tip Top Taupe in Black emboss powder and finished it with a gold top & snowflake that is part of the Thinlits Set.  To keep in the color theme I added a bow made with our awesome 3/8" stitched Satin  Ribbon.
Hope you enjoyed my quick share.  If you want more information on this card, give me a shout and I can give you more information.
Don't forget the Jacksonville Starz Monthly blog hop this Saturday starts at 7am and I am sure you will enjoy the marvelous cards.  This month's theme is Black & White with a touch of color.
Until next time.  Peace!
Rose Ann
