Holiday Catalog Retirment List Announced

Glad you stopped by.  Today I am featuring the framelits from the Jingle All the Way bundle.  The card base is Basic Black with a Gold Foil Mat.  The front is done in Whisper White that has been embossed with the Gently Falling Embossing Folder.  The houses & trees were cut from the center of the mat  and the horse & sleigh out of Shimmer Paper and stamped the expression in Gold Encore Ink.  I used the "All is calm" from the Wonderland Stamp Set (being retired bummer).  The inside of the card is Whisper White and stamped with Gold.  The sentiment is from the Versatile Christmas Set (another retiring set).  The corners are finished with the Curvy Corner Punch .

One more Reason

Good Morning
I thought I would post one more Reason for the Season card before I start a preview of another set.  This card is done with the Easel Fold technique.
The card is done in Black & Very Vanilla.  The front of the card is done with a Edge die (not Stampin' UP!) I got with my Crafter's Companion Winter Magazine.  It makes a beautiful addition to any project.  The flower was stamped in Always Artichoke, then Cherry Cobbler.  I used my blender pen to smudge the ink around the leaves and flowers then I fussy cut them out, I popped them up with Dimensionals.

I used the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies to create a tone on tone scene on the bottom.  The sentiment is from Embellished Ornaments and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

The scene adds a elegant touch but the edge serves to hold the card in the easel position.

I am very excited to be attending On Stage Live - Tampa this weekend.  It is Stampin' UP! new bi yearly get together that is held across the Stampin' UP! World.  The actually Event is in Brussels, Belgium and we will attending via live stream.  We get a sneak preview into the next Occasions and Sale-A-Brations catalogs (but have been sworn to secrecy).  No worries as soon as I can share I will.  It will be fun to see my fellow Jacksonville Starz and get my hands on some new products with the Product Preview.  This is just one of the perks of being a Stampin' UP! Demonstrator.  If you would like to know more just ask me or go to my Join the Fun page on my website.

Until next time.....Kindness never goes out of style!  You never know what burdens the other man is carrying.  Some times a smile or gentle word can make someones day.

Welcome the Jacksonville Starz November Blog Hop

Good Morning,
I am so glad you are able to join us for the November edition of the Jacksonville Starz Blog Hop.  You may just be starting the hop or may have come from Maria Willis' blog.  This month we are inspired by a sketch.  So follow the hop to see what our amazing Starz have created.

Here is our inspiration sketch

Here is my interpretation

Lighthearted Leaves from the Holiday Catalog was my stamp set of choice this month.  The card was done in Very Vanilla cardstock with a mat of Canjun Craze.  The front was embossed with the Boho Chic TIEF.  I used the stained glass technique, the leaves were embossed in Gold Embossing powder, cut out with the Leaflet Dies and then colored on the back side with Stampin' Write MarkersThe top leaf is backed by a leaf blank done in vanilla, so the other leaf colors didn't show thru, it also gave that leaf a little more pop.  The sentiment was also embossed in gold on Vellum.  A bow made with the Gold Cording from the Holiday Catty completed the front.  Always Artichoke was used to stamp the sentiment and I added a few leaves with a bit of color.  I think I really like the way it turned out, how about you?
The next stop on the hop is  Amanda Sevall  Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.  Until then be kind and Do One Thing Today that Makes YOU Happy!
