Now onto the Show….”The Jacksonville STARZ Blog Hop” is here…..Here is my Card Share and my Blog Candy!
I wanted to make a card that was simple to make but still had the WOW factor.
This is what I came up with using the set Christmas Blessings (123809).
I started with a Very Vanilla Base and matted it with Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. Then on a smaller layer of Very Vanilla I stamped the sentiment , using Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink Pad and sponged the edges with the same ink. On a small piece of Vanilla I stamped my Holly image in Black Staz-On. Using a small frame for the Window Frames Framelits (12921) I cut out the image. I also cut 2 mats the same size from Cherry Cobbler to make a faux frame. Using Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers to color the image. I matted it with the two frames of Cherry and adhered it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a double bow (made with my Magic Bow Maker) from Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.
I hope you enjoy my card and the other great cards or projects you will see on the tour.
Now for my Blog Candy...................
Just for leaving a comment on my blog you will be entered in a drawing for .....A multi color pack of 2010-2011 IN COLORS card stock and a spool of Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding ribbon. I will announce a winner on Sunday afternoon.
