Jacksonville Starz Holiday Mini Catalog Blog Hop & Blog Candy!

Thanks for hoping over from Amanda Sevall's Blog.  I'm Rose Ann Marr and I live in Southwest Florida just outside of Fort Myers.  I have been making handmade cards since 2001 when I was invited to my first Stampin' UP! workshop.  I love their products and joined the Jacksonville Starz in 2010.
My card was done with Bright & Beautiful.

Supplies:
  • Stamp Sets Bright & Beautiful (wood 135026 or clear 135029).
  • Card Stock Whisper White (100730), Night of Navy (100867), Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (135315).
  •  Stamp Pad – Versa Mark Pad (102283) Night of Navy (126970)
  •  Misc. –Big Shot (113439), Stars Framelits (133723), Clear Emboss Powder (109130), White Emboss Powder (109132), Heat Tool (129053), Pearl Basic Jewels (119247), Fast Fuse Adhesive (129026), Glue Dots (103683) Stampin’ Dimensional (104430)
Measurements:
        Night of Navy  - 4 ¼ x 11 (folded in half for card base) and 4’ x 5 ¼”
       Whisper White – 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 cut 2
        Dazzling Diamonds – 4” x 4” square
     Instructions
  • Run the smaller piece of Night of Navy cardstock through the big shot using the 4” star.  Align about 1/4” from the top, be sure it is centered and straight across.  Using stars 2nd largest to smallest (4 total) align them inside each other on the sq. of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  Run thru Big Shot.  Set aside.
  • Align the Navy mat onto a piece of the White card stock.  Ink the large Star stamp with VersaMark then tap in to Navy ink pad, using your Navy Mat as a template, stamp the star inside the cutout. Cover your image with clear emboss powder and heat. Using the same inking technique, stamp ”Wishing You sentiment on your inside piece of white card stock add a small star to the bottom corner and emboss.  Stamp Season’s Greetings in VersaMark only and emboss with white emboss powder.
  • To assemble, mount the white cardstock to the front and inside of base. Line up the Navy Mat star to star, using Dimensionals at all corner and in the in between each point of the star, mount to front.
  • Use glue dots or sticky strip to mount your largest star frame inside the cutout. Using Dimensionals mount the smallest star frame to the center of the design be sure to match points.   Add a pearl to the center of the star and a tiny pear to the center of the inside star.
