Here is s a project we did at our Saturday Lee Cnty Library class.  I think it ws a hit and everyone had a great time.  I love the ladies that come to my classes, they keep me on my toes.  

 

It is made with one sheet of Designer Series Paper, two sheets of coordinating cord stock.  A Full Wood Stamp case and a 5x7 notebook.  Some of the ladies didn't attach their note book so they can carry it in their purse.  
I love it!!!

Jacksonville Starz March Hop

Welcome to the March Jax Starz Blog Hop. This month we are sharing fun Easter and spring projects to inspire you!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Maria Willis' blog.  You can follow the full blog hop lineup below to move along from blog to blog, so you can see all of the new projects.
My card this month is a Double Z Fold Card, the Double Z card has been around for a while so I added a twist, I made it a Flip Card.  I used dies from our Ovals Collection but you can use any shape you would like.  I hope you enjoy!

Here is the card fully opened.

The stamp sets I used were Indescribable Gift (138575), Papillon Potpourri (123759) and Project Life Remember This (135786)  (just the Sweet Memories stamp)  The card base is Wisteria Wonder (12x12) accented with Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White card stock and Painted Blooms DSP.   The center was colored with Subtle Stampin' Write Markers and the Ink is Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder, Blackberry Bliss & Memento Pads.  The directions for this card are a little long so I am happy to send you a copy if you want to contact me via email.  I have measurements at the end of this post.

Measurements:
Wisteria Wonder 12 x 5 1/2 (base) scored at 2, 4, 8, & 10.  Pear Pizzazz 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (for ovals) and 3 7/8 x 5 3/8 (for inside frame).  Whisper White 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (for ovals)  4 x 5 for image.  Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper cut 4--1 7/8 x 5 3/8.
To make flip, mount Designer paper to flaps using Snail adhesive on three sides (NOT THE SIDE CLOSEST TO THE FOLD) matching front edges, place card on BS Platform and using 3rd smallest Oval Die place centered on fold about 1" from top of card.  Cover with cutting plate just to the fold and turn thru Big Shot (BE SURE NOT TO CUT PAST FOLD).

Welcome to my pad, I am glad you stopped in.
Here is a box I did the other day.  It is done with Graphic 45 Artisan Style collection paper.  This is a new release collection and I love love love it.  Don't get me wrong, Stampin' UP! has the best Card Stock in the world, everything they do is top of the line.  From time to time I use Graphic 45 for my work because they are STUNNING.  I hate to cut them up:-)  These pictures are dull in comparison to the actual box.

I used a box I brought for the base and covered it

Everything centered around the Floral Ephemera card I picked because of the background patten.  I cut the flower petals from a second card to give the box top some dimension.  I popped it up on Dimensionals.   Inside I just added another Ephemera Card with a different design the inside of the box is done with a paper that compliments the colors of the Peacock card.  A few tags on the binding.  I wrapped this with a black sheer ribbon (which is under the front flower card)  I hope you enjoy this project.

There are no issues with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (item #132708) or the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad Refill (item #133456). ALL the Blendabilities have been made unorderable at this time, including the Blendabilities Sale-A-Bration item numbers. At this time, backorders for Blendabilities will not be fulfilled. While we may be disappointed, I am proud to see Stampin' Up! remove a product that isn't meeting their quality standards. I will keep you posted as I learn more!
