Oh Happy Day!

My share today is from the 2013-2014 Idea Book and the set is Happy Day 130297.  I think this set is simple and sweet.  I used Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Whisper White Cardstock.  Happy Watercolor (I am going to miss this paper) Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini.  The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral Classic Ink Pad.  I layered the Fleur using Coral stamped directly on the cardstock and a layer done with Crisp Cantaloup and the center done with Coral, adding a Basic Pearl to the center finished the look.   For the inside sentiment I used The Perfect Pennants Stamp set and stamped in Calypso Coral.

So Very Grateful Share

I'm back with another share using one of the retiring stamp sets Today my featured set is So Very Grateful 133053 from the Occasions Mini.  My colors for this card were Blushing Bride Whisper White and Smoky Slate Card Stock.  I used Smoky Slate and Stazon to stamp my card and Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight Pink Pirouette, and Rose Red Markers to color the flowers.  The mat was textured with the Fancy Fans TIEF and for the sentiment inside I used a stamp from A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set 131059 which is being carried over.

Peaceful Petals

Good Morning
I just had to share this card that I just finished last night.  It is done with Peaceful Petals 133107 from the Occasions Mini.  I hadn't used this set yet and felt I had to show what a beautiful set it was.

Besides Peaceful Petals I used Best of Greetings 133485 from the Best of 25 years collection and Feels Good 129684 for the sentiment inside.  The base is Basic Black with a mat of Bermuda Bay and Whisper White Card Stock. I used the Adorning Accents TIEF 125601 and the Adorning Accents Edgelits 125595 to shape the edge.  And used Pool Party, Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz Markers to color the flowers.  I didn't use the Adorning Accents enough and now they are retiring.  My loss:-(

I have been trying to do some new cards using the retiring Stamps Sets that were in our Occasions Mini, but there are some GREAT sets that are retiring from our 2013-2014 Idea Book and I thought I would share some ideas using those as well.  

Today I am using Postage Collection (hostess 129240 Clear), the set has 16 stamps and is from the hostess collection.  It can be purchased for $12 Hostess Dollars with a $150 qualifying order.  I also used Perfect Pennants 133230 for the sentiment on the inside.

Pear Pizzazz was my base and my mat is Vanilla Card stock, (I also used a scrap of Soft Suede, Wisteria and Pear for the frames), Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder and Soft Suede Classic Ink Pad, Decorative Dots TIEF.  I sponged the Folder with a bit of Wisteria Ink to get it a speckled look and a bit of texture.

Just a share....Saying goodbye to Happy Watercolor.

HAPPY WATERCOLOR

Happy Watercolor has been my favorite stamp set since it came out in our Occasions Mini Catalog.  Some of the sets are being carried forward into the new 2014-2015 Idea Book.  Unfortunately  Happy Watercolor didn't make the cut.   There are so many good stamp sets in the Occasions and along with many more will be retiring on May 30th.  Check out the retirement list, since quite a few sets have sold out.  The Company has decided not to accept back order on the retiring sets, so when the supply is diminished it's gone. 
I have decided to pay homage to this set, and some of the others from the Occasions Mini that will be saying goodbye to at the end of the month.
Todays share is from Happy Watercolor 133191, I cased this from Robin Messenheimer's blog (www.RobinsCraftRoom.com)  I changed it up a bit, by using different color palette and different designer paper.  Robin is so talented, check out her blog for some amazing ideas.
