Love & Sympathy

I'd like to share a card I did with Love & Sympathy set.  It is a very quick and easy card that can be modified for any occasion by changing the sentiment.  It's done in Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade.  I used a of DSP from the In Color Paper Stack and two pieces of 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in white to add a little accent to the polka dot paper.

Love and Sympathy - 122797 clear $11.97 and Wood - 122795, $15.95

Wisteria Wonder 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 base.  Layer 1 Lucky Limeade 5 1/4 x 4, Layer 2  Wisteria Wonder 3 x 3 3/4 (run thru Big Shot using Stripes Folder for texture) then cut in half.  Insert Wisteria Wonder Polka Dots 1 1/2 x 3 3/4 between the two halves (I use a small piece of tape).  Cover the seams with a piece of Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.  Use a small amount of Mono-adhesive to back of seam then wrap the ribbon around adhering to back.   

The image is done with Stampin' Write Marker in Wisteria and Limeade stamped on a piece of 2x31/2 whisper white card stock and matted with another piece of Wisteria Wonder.  The sentiment was stamped in Limeade and punched out with the Decorative Label punch (120907) the faux matted using Wisteria.
