Good Morning, First of all I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to all of you affected by Hurricane Hermine.  We here in Southwest Florida were spared the brunt of the storm, suffering only some strong winds and a few days of heavy rain.  I know we were very lucky this time.

Here is one of the cards we are doing in my Wednesday Card Group

It is a Joy Fold style card.  I used the Spooky Fun/Halloween Scenes Edgelits bundle (144437) and Halloween Scares Stamp set (142229).  The base is done in Elegant Eggplant that has been embossed with the Woodland TIEF the inside is lined with a piece of DSP (sorry that is retired) the front is done in Basic Black and lined in Whisper White.  The scene on front is done mostly with cutout from scraps and there is little stamping.  The inside is stamped in Eggplant and Pumpkin Pie.  I love Joy folds they are quick and easy but give you a Wow factor everyone loves to see.

Wednesday Stamp Class

I do a stamp class on the 2 or 3 Wednesday of each month.  This month we started on Christmas Cards.  Using Stampin' UP! Special Edition Stamp Set Thoughtful Branches.  It is a great all purpose set.  Here are our two cards

   This card was done in Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White & Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  I really love to do either tone on tone or a neutral and one color cards.  I had this idea in my head and tried to do it without pulling out retired products.  But I couldn't do it. The Sentiment & sleigh die for the front are retired.  The tree inside is done in Soft Suede and Always Artichoke Ink.  Love it!

This card is done in Garden Green & Vanilla with a Cherry Cobbler Frame.  The DSP comes from This Christmas Specialty Designer Paper.  I used Garden Green, Soft Suede Ink and a bit of Cherry Cobbler Thick Bakers Twine.  The Sentiment came from Snow Friends & Merry &  Bright.
I have been working with the Flourishing Phrases and a few sets from the new Holiday Catalog which goes live on September 1.  I will share those lovelies next time. Have a wonderful Week and please remember to be kind, you never know what burdens someone is carrying.

One last Floral Phrases

Sorry I have been gone so long.  I have so many projects and volunteer things going on I seem to forget to share.  I wanted to do a quick share of some things I have worked on lately using Floral Phrases stamp set with the Detailed Floral Thinlits.  This card was done in Vanilla and Gold I used Gold Emboss Powder for the Congratulations on inside.  Since it left little room for the Sentiment I stamped it on the back using gold Ink.
